RAM yg besar tapi bila banyak proses yg berjalan yg memakan penggunaan proses CPU seperti proses Windows Desktop Manager (untuk mengaktifkan themes,tanpa ini Themes tidak berjalan) atau windows idle process yg kesemuanya itu tidak bisa kita stop prosesnya tapi sangat mempengaruhi penggunaan CPU (CPU usage) kita, sama saja akan tetap membuat respon komputer kita jadi lambat dan hang.

Process Tamer adalah sebuah utilitas yg super efisien dan berukuran kecil untuk Microsoft Windows XP/2K/NT/Vista/Win7 yang berjalan di system tray agan dan terus-menerus memonitor penggunaan CPU akan proses2 yg berjalan di komputer agan. Ketika melihat sebuah proses yang overloading di cpu Anda, Process tamer akan mengurangi prioritas proses tersebut sementara, sampai penggunaan cpu kembali ke tingkat yang normal.
